Hello Jennifer,
I would love to be added to your mailing list, even though I am a GRANDMOTHER! I worked with your dad for many, many years at Norfolk Southern (Southern Railway!). He always had nicknames for people and mine was "Gayla." I have met your mom but have never had the pleasure of getting to really know her. Your dad was always a bright spot in my days at the railroad and always lived his faith. I love him dearly. We still send emails back and forth --- usually "forwards" but it lets us know that we are thinking about each other. I was asking him to pray for my granddaughter, Brianna Chambers, who had injured her knee and was having surgery. Somewhere in the correspondence, I mentioned that she was on softball scholarship at Samford and he told me you had played there as well. Am really interested in your website "Strong Mothers" for book and movie referrals. There are so few out there today that I feel are "safe" to read.
