We celebrated a birthday in our family last week.
An 11th birthday for one special little girl.
We told stories of how it was when I was pregnant with her… how I went to the doctor hoping that she would tell me that we would induce THAT day (– only to find out it would be the next day. I had everything already ready for my long-term teaching sub).
We sang the birthday song. We ate cake. She and her sister got pizza.
And we got two hamsters.
Yep. Hubs and I gave in.
Two, because the lady at the pet store said that the hamster need another one to play with and cuddle with.
And two because the birthday girl’s sister has been begging, too, for a hamster.
